About Leventis Foundation
The Leventis Foundation Nigeria is a humanitarian organization dedicated to empowering adolescents and farmers via training in contemporary, sustainable agriculture practices and responsible natural resource management.
Since its founding in 1987, the Foundation has been at the forefront of agricultural training, with six training institutions strategically located throughout Nigeria’s many agro-ecological zones.
The Leventis Foundation and the relevant state governments jointly sponsor these schools in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Osun, Kano, and Gombe states.
The institutions offer comprehensive one-year training programs for young men and women interested in pursuing rewarding careers in farming and agribusiness.
Participants acquire practical experience in a variety of agricultural fields, value chains, and farm enterprises.
About 2025 Leventis Foundation Training Programme In Modern And Sustainable Agriculture
In addition to the one-year training, the Leventis Foundation (Nigeria) provides a wide range of consultancy services and targeted short courses in various aspects of agriculture, such as processing and packaging, poultry production, vegetable production, beekeeping, honey production, fish farming, mushroom production, value chain development, feed formulation, greenhouse farming and hydroponics, urban farming, and climate-smart agriculture, among others.

Eligibility
- The program is open to both male and female candidates who are eager to develop sustainable careers in agriculture and agribusiness.
Admission Requirements
Applicants must meet the following conditions, among others:
- Be physically fit.
- English reading and writing skills (evidence of a secondary school leaving certificate may be required).
- Aged between 18 and 40 years.
- Pass both the written and oral exams prior to final selection.
- Should show a discernible interest in agriculture.
- Proven farming experience is advantageous.
Required Documents For Submission
All candidates are to bring the following documents on the day of the examination:
- A handwritten cover letter.
- A letter of attestation, signed by either the Chairman or Secretary of your Local Government of Origin or a Justice of the Peace (JP).
- Attach the following documents:
Two (2) recent passport-sized photographs.
Three (3) reference letters.
Photocopies of your academic qualifications or any other relevant documents
