We are looking for a Baggage Handler. This is a key function in making sure our guests have a seamless and enjoyable journey from check in to baggage recovery.
Summary of the Job
As a Baggage Handler you will be responsible for the safe, efficient and timely loading, unloading and transportation of passenger bags and goods. You will guarantee that all baggage is handled carefully and sent to the appropriate aircraft and reclaim places.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Collecting, sorting, and verifying luggage against flight manifests to ensure correct aircraft loading.
- Transporting luggage from check-in counters to departure areas using specialized vehicles.
- Operating baggage tugs, cargo loaders, and conveyor systems to move luggage to and from aircraft holds.
- Protecting luggage and cargo from adverse weather conditions during transit.
- Loading and storing luggage securely in the aircraft hold, adhering to weight and balance procedures.
- Ensuring the swift unloading and delivery of luggage to the correct conveyors in the baggage reclaim area upon landing.
- Identifying and reporting damaged, incorrectly received, or suspicious luggage to supervisors or security immediately.
- Recording and managing load discrepancies and damaged baggage reports.
- Performing routine safety checks on equipment and reporting any damaged or malfunctioning machinery.
Qualifications & Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent certification.
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in logistics, warehousing, or airport operations is required.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.

- Willingness to work flexible hours, including late shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
