About The 2024 CIPM Essay Competition Details
In 1968, the Personnel Management Association of Nigeria was created as an umbrella organization for practitioners of personnel management. This organization is now known as the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria.
For the Annual CIPM Essay Competition, the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria is now accepting submissions from undergraduate students attending universities and polytechnics in Nigeria so that they can participate.
Students are encouraged to offer their perspectives on the fast changing environment of artificial intelligence and its effects on the workforce as part of this year’s theme, which is titled “The Rise of Artificial Intelligence: Implications for Job and Workforce Dynamics in Organizations.”

2024 CIPM Essay Competition Requirements
- You are need to take note of the following in order to be accepted for the 2024 CIPM Essay Competition
- Attend a Nigerian higher institution (university or polytechnic)
- The essay needs to be original, empirical, and up to the standards of both the local and international journals.
- The essay must not be longer than three thousand words and must be properly referenced using the American Psychological Association (APA) style of referencing.
- The font type that must be used is Times New Roman, and the font size must be 12 points.
- Only Microsoft Word should be used to input all of the entries, and double-line spacing should be used.
- Plagiarism, in any of its forms, is strictly prohibited and will completely result in the disqualification of entries that have been indicted.
