INEC 2027 Recruitment: Available Positions and Eligibility Requirements
The INEC Portal for the Engagement of Election Staff (INECPRES) is the official online platform established by the Independent National Electoral Commission for registering eligible Nigerians who wish to participate in election-related duties during the 2027 General Elections.

- Must be a Public or Civil Servant on Grade Level 10–14.
- Must be a Registration Area Officer or INEC staff on Grade Level 10–14 who is not engaged in other duties.
2. Registration Area Centre (RAC) Manager
The RAC Manager is responsible for overseeing the Registration Area Centre, where election personnel and materials are coordinated before deployment to polling units.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Must be a Head of School hosting the RAC.
- Alternatively, applicants must be staff members on Grade Level 07 and above of the school, institution or public building hosting the RAC.
3. Registration Area Technical Support (RATECH)
Registration Area Technical Support personnel provide technical assistance for election-related technology and equipment. Applicants under this category must possess relevant IT knowledge and technical experience.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Applicants must have an IT background.
- Must be suitable INEC ICT staff at the State or Headquarters level.
- Must not be engaged in other duties.

4. Presiding Officer (PO) / Assistant Presiding Officer (APO)

- Serving National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) members.
- Penultimate-year students of Federal or State tertiary institutions in Nigeria with IT knowledge.

- Permanent INEC staff on Grade Level 07 or 08.
- Former corps members who completed their service from 2024.
