Skill Reset Nigeria 2026 is providing a platform for Nigerians to obtain practical digital and artificial intelligence (AI) skills via a free national training program.
The initiative, which is powered by Learnploy and set up by the Seyi Makinde Foundation, is meant to empower one million Nigerians with appropriate skills, employment possibilities and practical knowledge needed to participate in the digital economy.
Applications for the first cohort are already opened to eligible Nigerians across all 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
Interested applicants can pick from six practical training tracks: Data Analysis with AI, Digital Marketing, AI Tools and Automation, Content Creation with AI, Digital Skills and Workplace Productivity and Sales and Customer Experience.
Training is absolutely free of cost for accepted participants. The basic level courses require no prior technical skills from the applicants and they can learn online or attend guided learning sessions at designated state hubs.

Successful candidates will be notified of the admission results and will have access to the learning platform Learnploy prior to the start of the program on 16 November 2026.

About Skill RESET Nigeria
Skill RESET Nigeria is a national digital skills and economic empowerment program of the Seyi Makinde Foundation, powered by Learnploy.
The program was launched to provide practical digital skills for Nigerians and to connect trained persons with opportunities in employment, entrepreneurship, internships and freelance work.
Its ultimate objective is to empower one million Nigerians with practical skills and opportunity to better their economic fortunes.
The effort is built around three primary objectives:
- Free and accessible training in digital and AI capabilities.
- Establishment of guided learning hubs in the 36 states and FCT, Nigeria.
- Linking qualified graduates to professional growth and economic prospects.
Phase One of the program aims to reach 100,000 learners in several cohorts. Provisionally, the first cohort is intended to accommodate 5,000 learners.
Skill RESET Nigeria has 37 planned training hubs including one flagship hub in every state and the FCT for supervised digital learning to be more available to individuals across the country.

Applicants can select one of six practical training tracks based on their interests, career goals or business needs.
