Eligibility Criteria
- Nationality: Candidates must be FAO members.
- Education: Candidates must be students engaged in an undergraduate or graduate degree program at a legitimate educational institution at the time of application, or recent graduates.
- Languages: Candidates must be proficient in at least one FAO official language (English, French, Spanish, Arabic, Chinese, or Russian). Knowledge of a second FAO official language will be considered an advantage.
- Age: Candidates must be between the ages of 21 and 30 at the commencement of their internship.
- Candidates should be able to adapt to an international multicultural atmosphere, have strong communication skills, and understand how to utilize basic computer programs.
- Residency/Visa status: Candidates must have valid residency or immigration status in the country of assignment before beginning their internship.
- Candidates having family members (defined as brother, sister, mother, and father) employed by FAO on any sort of contract are ineligible for the Internship Programme.
Programme Duration
The 2025 Food and Agriculture Organization’s (FAO) Internship Programme will last from three (3) to eleven (11) months.

- The Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) provides interns with a monthly salary of $700 if they are not supported by sending universities or other businesses.
- For the entirety of the internship program, this stipend will be provided to every intern without exception. It might last anywhere from three to eleven months.
