Customer Marketing Director Job Description
The Customer Marketing Director is in charge of developing and shaping our customer marketing strategies based on consumer insights, as well as excellent planning and execution of consumer and customer activities at the point of purchase, in order to transform and accelerate Diageo’s international spirits growth in West and Central Africa.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Create a Customer Marketing strategy and ensure that all activities are carried out effectively.
- Develop, Manage, and Ensure Consistent Delivery of BTL Activities, Channel Development, and Other Trade Programs
- Develop a thorough understanding of consumer insights (for yourself and your team) and play a key part in producing customer insights that will unleash activity success.
- A strong emphasis on A&P efficacy through M&E in activities.
- Ensures that measures are in place to promote an inclusive culture and engaged staff in customer marketing.
- Build and coach diverse teams, and motivate the company to strive for even greater success.
Qualifications, Experience
- 7+ years of sales and marketing experience, with a focus on CPG and drinks; joint business planning and category expertise;
- Substantial project management experience;
- Familiarity working with Category Management tools and techniques
