Seven-Up Bottling Company Limited is one of Nigeria’s largest manufacturing enterprises, producing and distributing some of the country’s most popular beverages, including Pepsi, 7-Up, Mirinda, Teem, Mountain Dew, H2oH!, Lipton Ice Tea, and Aquafina luxury drinking water. SBC just joined the Home & Personal Care industry under the 2SURE brand, launching its first product, a Hand & Surface Sanitizer. 

Seven Up has nine bottling factories with state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities strategically situated throughout the country.

Responsibilities

  • Performs daily and weekly bank reconciliations for the region’s collection, imprest, and remittance accounts.
  • Liaise with bankers about difficulties such as online bank statements, failed payments, and payment disputes from vendors.
  • Validate scrap buyers’ payments and produce receipts for other income recognition.
  • Assist the OFM with the compilation of assigned monthly reports and analyses.
  • Participate actively in month-end stock counting activities.
  • Process approved payment for administrative expenses in the region. I.e., imprest costs.
  • Help Finance Lead the effort to raise journals related to month-end financial closing.

Eligibility Requirements

  • BSC/HND in the relevant field.
  • Three years or more of post-qualification experience in a manufacturing environment is advantageous.
  • Excellent ability in data analytics on both financial and operational fronts.
  • Developing answers to unusually difficult situations requires a high level of creativity and ingenuity.
  • Professional Accounting and Finance Qualifications: ACCA, ACA, CIMA.
  • Strong financial and accounting knowledge, management skills, accounting, business planning, and analysis.
