Overview of the Position
- A strong academic background, a demonstrated record of research and publication, and significant postgraduate teaching experience will be required of the successful candidate.
- The position entails the provision of service, research, and instructional responsibilities, with an emphasis on the enhancement and advancement of the MSc Cybersecurity program.
- We are currently seeking a Lecturer who is both qualified and enthusiastic about the MSc Cybersecurity program.
Principal Responsibilities and Duties
- Participating in university service activities, program development, and committee work to support the academic community.
- Conducting advanced courses in the MSc Cybersecurity program.
- Contributing to the university’s research objectives and participating in cutting-edge research.
- Assisting and advising postgraduate students in their academic and professional endeavours.
- Ensure that the curriculum is relevant to the requirements of the industry by providing leadership in its development.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated capacity to mentor and supervise graduate students.
- A distinguished record of scholarly publications in prestigious journals and conferences.
- Participation in professional organisations that are associated with the field of software engineering.
- A wealth of experience in the development and instruction of postgraduate curricula in the following areas: Cyber Threat Intelligence, Digital Forensics, Advanced Cryptography, Security Governance, Ethical Hacking, Cloud & Infrastructure Security, Cyber Law & Policy, or Security Analytics.
- A Ph.D. in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a closely related field from a reputable institution.
