About FRSC
The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) is a paramilitary agency and Nigeria’s lead organization responsible for road traffic administration, highway safety, and traffic management.
The Corps is committed to promoting safer roads through effective enforcement and public safety initiatives.
Qualifications
Applicants must possess the following:
- A valid National Driver’s Licence with the appropriate class for riders.
- Trade Test Certificate or other relevant professional certificates (where applicable).
- Attempted SSCE/GCE from WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB.
General Requirements
Interested candidates must:
- Be Nigerian by birth.
- Be computer literate.
- Possession of a valid National Driver’s Licence is an added advantage.
- Declare and present all certificates and qualifications during recruitment, as undeclared qualifications will not be considered for future career progression within the Corps.
- Be medically fit and provide a Medical Fitness Certificate issued by an approved government hospital.
- Be single.
- Meet the minimum height requirement of:
- 1.65 metres for male applicants.
- 1.58 metres for female applicants.
- Hold valid practising licences where applicable for medical and allied professional disciplines.
- Lawyers must have been called to the Nigerian Bar.
- Be of good character, free from financial indebtedness, and have no criminal conviction.
- Have no tattoos on any part of the body.
- Use a personal email address and phone number when submitting the application.
- Female applicants who are pregnant are advised not to apply.
Salary
Successful candidates will be placed on the CONPASS 04 / 03 salary structure.
