The Nigerian Army has announced the commencement of online registration for its 92 Regular Recruits Intake (92RRI) Exercise.
Qualified Nigerians are invited to enlist in the Nigerian Army as Tradesmen, Non-Tradesmen, and Women as part of this nationwide recruitment drive.
Registration commenced on September 9, 2026, and will conclude on October 21, 2026.

About the Nigerian Army
The Nigerian Army is the largest component of the Nigerian Armed Forces and is responsible for land warfare operations. It is governed by the Nigerian Army Council and plays a critical role in national defence, internal security, and peacekeeping operations both within and outside Nigeria
Basic Entry Requirements
(1) Applicants must be single and Nigerian citizen by birth, and must possess National Identity Card/NIN and Bank Verification Number (BVN) slip.
(2) The name and date of birth on the NIN must correspond with those on the BVN and all other credentials.
(3) Applicants must be medically, physically and psychologically fit in accordance with Nigerian Army Standards.
(4) Applicants must have no criminal conviction by any court of competent jurisdiction.
(5) Applicants must posses at least a minimum of 4 paases including English Language in not more than 2 sittings in WASSCE/GCE/NECO/NABTEB and NBAIS.
(6) In addition to the above qualifications, those applying as trades men/women must posses Trade Test/City and Guild Certitificate.
(7) Applicants must posses a valid birth certificate endorsed by the National Population Commission, Hospital or Local Government Council. Age declaration endorsed by a competent court can also suffice.
(8) Applicant must not be less than 18 years or more than 22 years for non-trades men/women, while trades men/women must not be more than 26 years by 21 October 2026.
(9) Applicants must not be less than 1.68 metres and 1.65 metres tall for male and female candidates respectively.
(10) Applicants must apply using their state of origin and not state of residence.
(11) Applicants must possess a valid certificate of state of origin.

General Instructions for recruitment into the Nigerian Army
(1) Candidates are to note that there will be no Pre-Selection Computer Based Test.
(2) No special centre for recruitment.
(3) All screening of potential recruits will be conducted at the candidates’ respective state of origin.
(4) Candidates are not to bring electronic or recording devices to the venue of the State Recruitment Exercise.
(5). Tattoo, Piercing or Inscription on any part of the body other than tribal marks are not allowed.
(6) Candidates must tender all original copies of educational certificates (primary to secondary)
(7) Multiple piercings of ears for females are not allowed.
(8) Candidates must not belong to any cult/society/fraternity.
(9). A Candidate will be withdrawn from training if found to have forged or falsified or his/her document.
(10) Candidates are advised in their own interest not to give any form of gratification or inducement to any person or group of persons to assist them in the recruitment exercise.
