Project Officer Job Description
This position provides ground support for the timely execution of projects in accordance with the franchise’s scope, quality, and budget.
Qualification and Requirements for Project Officer
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, social sciences, or similar fields.
- Professional certifications include PMP, PSM, ACP, CAPM, PRINCE II, and other relevant credentials.
- 2-5 years of relevant experience in the power industry or other related industries is advantageous.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure that initiatives run well within the Business Hub.Â
- Ensure that all projects are completed within the specified timelines, scope, and budget.
- Assisted in the development of the project scope and charter, as well as ensuring the project’s feasibility.Â
- Create a clear project plan for implementing, monitoring, and reporting project milestones using appropriate project management tools.
- Implement the risk responses outlined in the project risk register, while also identifying and planning for residual/secondary risks.
- Create and maintain detailed project documentation. Â
- Prepares quarterly and ad hoc reports for key stakeholders.Â
- Carry out such duties as directed by the Regional Project Officer.
