Job Description
- Evans Industries Limited in Lagos is looking for a full-time, on-site Commercial Accountant.
- The Commercial Accountant will be in charge of financial statements, financial reporting, and management accounting activities on a daily basis.
Responsibilities of Receivable Accountant at Evans Industries Limited
- Compile and evaluate financial data to create financial statements such as monthly and annual reports.
- Prepare management reports.
- Establish and oversee the application of accounting control procedures.
- Create and maintain financial databases.
- Liaise with an external auditor to ensure that the annual audit is completed on time.
- Maintain an intercompany account between the Company and other linked companies.
- General ledger maintenance and reconciliation.
- Ensure compliance with applicable rules and regulations, as well as the integrity of financial data.
- Oversee the correct and proper recording and analysis of revenue and expenses.
- Evaluate and advise on business operations, including revenue and expense trends, financial obligations, and prospective revenue.
- Collect and analyze financial data in order to recommend or construct optimal resource and procedure use, provide strategic recommendations, and maintain solutions to company and financial issues.
- Account payable management
- Fixed asset Management
- Any other role may be assigned by Management.
Qualifications for Receivable Accountant at Evans Industries Limited
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Professional qualifications such as ACCA or CPA
- Experience in a manufacturing or FMCG industry.
- Financial Statements, Financial Reporting, and Management Accounting skills
- Analytical Skills
- Finance knowledge
