Your Tasks
- Conducting constant market research and analysis for our own categories
- Support the global/regional category manager in developing strategies based on appropriate market research and analysis.
- Responsible for strategy implementation in accordance with global/regional category strategy.
- Consulting worldwide strategy development in similar categories within and across regions.
- Development and execution of local strategies.
- Full authority in supplier selection, negotiation, and contracting of local framework conditions with suppliers (prices, TCO, payment terms, quality levels, etc.) for own categories towards objectives agreed with the demand owner or set by global/regional efforts along the stated category roadmap.
- Contract management (coordinating with the legal department, identifying the need for templates, co-drafting templates with the legal department, etc.)
- Continuously evaluating connected operations for ways to maximize the Proc value contribution.
- Responsible for the performance of total spend in their own category.

Education:
- University Degree
General work experience:
- Min. 5 years in relevant industries
Functional experience:
- Â Min. 3 years in Procurement
Cross funct. experience:
- An advantage, as helpful for area of resp.
International experience:
- An advantage, esp. supplier market-related
Leadership: –
- Proj. Mgmt.: Managing functional projects in a matrix
Languages:
- English business fluent, others an advantage
- Influencing: Communication & interpersonal skills
