Job Description
Our client owns a Beauty & Wax Bar in the heart of Lekki Phase 1, Lagos. Their skilled beauty treatments include Lycon waxing, Turkish Hammam, full body scrub, Dermalogica facials, deep tissue massage, Swedish massage, aromatherapy massage, hot stone massage, Crystal Clear Microdermabrasion facial, manicures, brows, and pedicures.
They are looking for a talented and expert Wax, Massage, and Facial Therapist to join their team in an elite spa in Lagos, Nigeria.
As an important member of their wellness team, you will deliver great beauty and relaxation services to their loyal customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide a range of waxing services on various parts of the body, assuring client comfort and satisfaction.
- Provide a variety of massage therapies tailored to each client’s specific needs and preferences.
- Perform facial treatments, such as skin analysis, cleansing, exfoliation, and mask application.
- Recommend and apply appropriate skincare products based on the clients’ skin type and concerns.
- Maintain a clean, sanitary, and welcoming treatment room at all times.
- Educate clients about proper skincare routines and post-treatment care.
- Schedule appointments and manage client records effectively.
- Collaborate with other spa staff members to provide a seamless and soothing experience for all guests.
- Stay updated on the latest trends and techniques in waxing, massage, and facial treatments
Qualifications
- Diploma or certification in cosmetology, esthetics, or related field
- Valid massage therapy certification Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in waxing, massage, and facial treatments
- Proficiency in various waxing techniques for different body parts
- Expertise in several massage techniques (e.g., Swedish, deep tissue, hot stone)
- In-depth knowledge of facial treatments and skincare products Strong awareness of anatomy, physiology, and contraindications for treatments
- Excellent customer service and communication capabilities
- Ability to maintain a professional and supportive approach with clients Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and sanitation
- Time management abilities and ability to operate efficiently
- Additional certifications in specific treatments (e.g., aromatherapy, reflexology) desirable
- Familiarity with local health rules and safety requirements in Lagos, Nigeria

- The salary is competitive coupled with other bonuses.
