About the 2024 Oyo State Bursary Award
The Oyo State Scholarship Board has, over the course of many years, done a commendable job of providing financial help to students of Oyo State indigeneship who are enrolled in any of the public tertiary institutions.
The objective of the Oyo State Bursary Award is to provide financial assistance to Oyo State students who are financially disadvantaged at the same time as they are pursuing higher education at any tertiary institution in the country or abroad.
In addition to this, the objective of the body is to promote academic success and make certain that no child is excluded from receiving a quality education.
Eligibility Requirements For 2024 Oyo State Bursary Award
You need to fulfill the following requirements to be eligible for consideration for the Oyo State Bursary Award:
- Except final-year law students, final-year undergraduate, HND, and clinical students are to apply
- Students majoring in Aviation and Maritime
- All of the students and applicants listed above must be currently enrolled in universities and other higher institutions in Nigeria.
- Candidates from private tertiary institutions, part-time students, and students from other countries are NOT eligible to apply.
- Double entries will be disqualified.

Required Documents for Oyo State Bursary Award 2024
In order to demonstrate their eligibility for the Oyo State Bursary Award, applicants will be asked to provide the following documents:
- Letter of Admission
- Local Government Identification
- Current Course registration Form endorsed by your Head of Department (H.O.D)
- Passport Photograph
- Must be a registered Federation of Oyo State Student Union (FOSSU) member.

Method of Application for Oyo State Bursary Award 2024/2025
- To submit an application for the Oyo State Bursary Award, students who are interested and qualified should:
- click on the Apply Now button, you will be sent to the Oyo State Bursary application portal
- During the application procedure, you are expected to provide all of the information and documents that are requested.
- After ensuring that all of the necessary information has been provided accurately, you will then click the “submit” button to complete your application.
- After this, you will need to print out the confirmation
- You should make sure to keep the application Submission Confirmation, which will include essential information such as the application number, which you will use in the future to verify the status of your application.
- There will be an announcement made on the recipients of the bursary as soon as the applications have been reviewed and accessed, and the status of the recipients can be verified on this portal. Once this is complete, the beneficiaries will then get their bursary award
