About Labana Rice Mills Limited
Built in Birnin Kebbi, Kebbi State in 2012, Labana Rice Mills Ltd is an integrated rice mill.
It started manufacturing in November 2014 using two independent 400 MT/Day producing capacity independent units.
Currently under development is a third extra plant capable of producing 300 MT/Day of parboiled rice. These totaled 700 MT/Day, making the firm the biggest rice mill in Africa.
The company guarantees that all departments are run by qualified and experienced staff members so that product stays the major item on the market. Working closely with the production department, the Quality Control Department produces the best parboiled rice.
The company will keep involving its consumers and other stakeholders to guarantee sufficient supply of our product both for our immediate neighbors of the West African sub region and for the whole country.
Roles and Responsibilities of Chief Mechanical Engineer
- The Chief Mechanical Engineer is responsible for leading and supporting the maintenance team, as well as the implementation of technical initiatives to improve the reliability of mechanical systems. This is accomplished in close collaboration with stakeholders.
- In addition to ensuring that projects adhere to time and financial constraints, the Chief Engineer will be responsible for assigning duties to the maintenance team, establishing both long-term and short-term goals, and generating management reports on a regular basis.
Qualifications and Experience of Chief Mechanical Engineer At Labana Rice Mills Limited
- The candidate should have between seven and ten years of experience after graduation in the field of mechanical engineering, with at least three of those years being spent in a senior or team leadership capacity.
- In order to be eligible for any of these roles, applicants must both possess a higher degree and be members of a professional organization that is pertinent to the employment, in addition to having a basic understanding of computers.
