Job Role
As a Communications Specialist at Moniepoint, you will assist tell our narrative in a clear and engaging manner. Working together with the Corporate Affairs team, you’ll collect and create content that shows Moniepoint’s effect. You’ll be in charge of building unique campaigns, identifying new content opportunities using data insights, and writing appealing pieces for a variety of platforms, including social media and reports. By developing great relationships with internal teams, you’ll be able to collect and share powerful narratives that strengthen our brand messaging and resonate strongly with our audience.

You’ll be instrumental in telling Moniepoint’s narrative in a way that is clear, approachable, and trustworthy.
Key Responsibilities of Communications Specialist at Moniepoint
- Shape Moniepoint’s brand voice and ensure that all content is consistent with our messaging approach.
- Translate difficult topics into engaging and accessible content for our stakeholders.
- Collaborate with internal teams to plan and manage the collection and creation of interesting stories.
- Maintain an editorial calendar with a varied selection of stories and content.
- Ask meaningful inquiries and establish rapport with narrative topics from many teams and external stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities to collect content from both the field and internal audiences to support our editorial goal.
- Collaborate with the Communications and PR teams to create unique campaigns and explore new content opportunities.
- Create compelling material for a variety of venues, including websites, social media, reports, and external communications initiatives.Â
Qualifications
- At least three years of relevant experience in a communications job, with a portfolio of work demonstrating the creation of self-developed content.
- The ability to extract and shape narrative from seemingly innocuous situations.Â
- Structured approach, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.
- Excellent research, teamwork, and planning skills.
- Superior writing and vocal communication abilities are essential.
- A track record of adopting purposeful storytelling to increase organizational influence and business outcomes.
