The Dangote Academy

Vocational Training Scheme
The VTS provides students with training in basic trades such as welding and fabrication, fitting and mechanical repair, heavy-duty automotive maintenance, instrumentation and automation, electrical maintenance, and process operation.
Since 2010, five streams of trainees have been trained in batches of about 50 students, with over 90% of graduates finding jobs with Dangote Cement.
The Junior Technician Scheme
The JTS is the Academy’s most recent learning effort, and it was designed to complement the VTS.
The 18-month course has enrolled its first and second batches of students, totaling approximately 150 trainees.
Welding and fabrication, fitting and mechanical maintenance, heavy earth-moving equipment maintenance, and electrical and instrumentation abilities are among the programs covered in training.
