Job Description / Responsibilities
- Plumbing systems and parts should be installed, repaired, and maintained in compliance with building codes and regulations.
- Plan plumbing installations and make sure they are carried out correctly by working with the engineering and construction teams.
- To determine the plumbing requirements, interpret technical drawings and plans.
- Examine plumbing systems, find problems, and make the required replacements or repairs.
- Ascertain the plumbing systems’ configuration and flow, taking into account the pipes, fittings, and drains.
- Work together with carpenters and electricians among other construction crafts to make sure plumbing systems integrate smoothly.
- Address plumbing emergencies and offer prompt resolutions.
Requirements for Plumber Job At Dangote Group
Education and Work Experience
- Completed an apprenticeship, obtained a Trade Test Certificate, and minimum of SSCE.
- Three years minimum of experience working as a plumber.
Skills and Competencies
- A solid understanding of the heating, ventilation, and water supply systems.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
- Extensive familiarity with plumbing components and systems.
- Skilled in deciphering technical drawings and plans; able to operate both individually and as part of a team.
- Exceptional organizing and time management skills.
- Strong and in good physical shape to operate heavy machinery and perform tasks in various settings.
