As part of the preparations for the governorship election that will take place on September 21, 2024, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has scheduled the collection of Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) in Edo state to take place between Thursday, August 22, 2024 and Sunday, September 8, 2024.
2024 CVR PVC Issuance Register for Edo State
Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) is an operation that tries to capture new voters, update information about existing voters, and issue permanent voter registration cards (PVCs).
In preparation for the general elections that will take place in 2024, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has begun the process of issuing Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) to voting individuals who are registered to vote in Edo State.
How to Check For Your Name for PVC Collection?
To check for your name on the PVC Issuance Register for the 2024 CVR PVC Issuance Register for Edo State, you are to follow the steps below:
- Click on the link to go to the INEC 2024 CVR PVC Issuance Register for Edo State
- https://inecnigeria.org/?page_id=13804 OR click on the Check INEC Register button below
- The 18 Local Government Areas will be displayed, click on the LGA in which you made your registration
- Click on your registration area from the list of registration areas that will be displayed
- A list of registered voters will be displayed on a PDF from which you can check your name.
Where Are The PVC Collection Centers?
You are to collect your PVC at the same locations where you made your voter registration.
If you registered in a particular school for example, you must return to that same school for PVC collection.
Requirements for PVC collection
- You will have to go with your TVC or registration slip
- Go with National Identity Card or other accepted documents
- Verify registration details

PVC Collection Deadline
Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) can be picked up in every Local Government Area in Edo state from Thursday, August 22, 2024, to Sunday, September 8, 2024.
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has set the dates ahead of the September 21 Governorship Election.
Ensure that you visit your registration centers to pick up your PVC before the expiration of the PVC pick-up date.
