Key Responsibilities:
- Invoices from suppliers and vendors are processed for payment
- Maintaining the creditors’ schedule.
- Ensure daily/weekly collection of Bank statements and confirmation of cheques
- Manage various types of payments (internet banking, Remita, interswitch, etc.).
- Keeping financial records orderly and filed
- Detect and remove mistakes in payment requests.
- Before processing another cash advance for a staff member, confirm all retirements. Ensure that items received by the store are sent to the proper Trade Creditor’s account. Verify and sign off on any intercompany transactions across divisions.
- Confirm on a monthly basis that COT and interest charges are consistent with the agreed-upon rates.
- Perform other similar duties from time to time.

Skills, Competencies and Requirements:
Functional Competencies/Requirements:
- Ability to enhance risk management by reducing/transparency of cash balances
- Banking transaction execution and settlement skills
- Ability to report on cash and investments.
- Compliance to audit observation as to the segregation of roles with regard to back office capability of recording transactions through a systematic driven authorization/execution procedure
General Management Competencies/Requirements:
- Strong oral and written communication abilities.
- Good presentation skills.
- Relationship Management
- Strong problem-solving abilities, including effective planning, scheduling, and coordination.
Educational Qualifications/Experience:
- Minimum of university degree or HND Accounting, Finance or related discipline
- Minimum of 1 years post professional qualification experience.
