SECURITY MANAGER – FLOUR MILLS OF NIGERIA PLC, APAPA (INTERNAL ONLY)

Job Purpose 

To oversee the protection of company assets and subsidiaries, ensuring the prevention of losses, safeguarding resources, and maintaining operational integrity to support the organization’s long-term goals. 

The Job 

• Implement and adhere to the company’s security policies and procedures to provide a safe environment for all employees, assets, and operations. 
• Oversee the maintenance and performance of all security equipment to ensure its operational efficiency. 
• Collaborate with law enforcement authorities, external security providers, and key stakeholders to improve overall security and maintain regulatory compliance. 
• Supervise and coordinate the actions of outsourced security staff, ensuring compliance with company standards and processes. 
• Monitor criminal activities, investigate internal security breaches, and take the necessary steps to address and resolve security incidents. 
• Ensure that all personnel and guests adhere strictly to the company’s security regulations. 

The Person Must 

• Have excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
• Be able to work in a fast-paced environment. 
• Pay high attention to details. 
• Strong analytical, organizational, and decision-making skills. 

Qualification 

• BSC/HND in any discipline. 
• Computer literacy is an added advantage. 

Experience 

• 2 years cognate experience. 
• Certification in security related disciplines is an added advantage.
