About Flour Mills Of Nigeria
Flour Mills of Nigeria Plc (FMN) was founded as a limited liability business and pioneer wheat miller in Nigeria on September 29, 1960, and has since evolved into one of Africa’s largest brands in the foods and agro-allied industries.
The FMN brand has grown considerably over the years, from a single flour miller to a big business conglomerate with strategic stakes in critical sectors of Nigeria’s economy.
The group’s operations are divided into four key sectors: food, sugar, agro-allied, and support services.
Our entry into the agricultural sector began in 1978, with the purchase of a 10,000-hectare farm in Kaboji, Niger state, as part of an investment and expansion plan aimed at creating value in the supply chain and reducing dependency on imported raw materials.
Since then, we have made significant investments in the primary processing of locally cultivated soybeans, palm fruit, cassava, maize, sugar cane, and sorghum, as well as the storage, aggregation, and distribution of locally obtained grains.
At FMN, we are enthusiastic about ‘feeding and enriching lives.’ For over five decades, we have maintained a long tradition of boosting the quality of life for Nigerian families by offering a balanced array of food options.
