Job Description
As part of this job description, you will be responsible for supervising the inspection of all products and services, ensuring that they comply with industry standards, and ensuring that the highest possible quality standards are maintained.
As part of this job role, you will be responsible for managing vendor assessments, monitoring compliance, and continuously improving processes to improve operational efficiency and material reliability.
Eligibility Requirements
- A first degree in electrical engineering, energy management, or management is required. BSc., B.Eng., or HND
- Certifications in engineering are required. Membership in a professional body is required, such as the NSE or COREN.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in quality assurance, inspection, or a similar industry, with at least 3 years of leadership.
Technical Competencies
- Extensive knowledge of the principles and practices of power distribution operations
- Extensive knowledge of the principles behind electrical instrumentation and mechanical installation, as well as their functions and maintenance.
- Extensive knowledge of the principles and practices of safety management
- Strong understanding of the methods, materials, practices, and equipment commonly employed in technical operations.
- Strong understanding of technical standards and regulations, as well as the legal requirements that govern electricity distribution systems.
- Having a solid grasp of the Grid network infrastructure is crucial.
- Strong understanding of electricity distribution policies and regulatory issues, including industry codes, standards, and best practices.
- Extensive understanding of the various materials utilized in electrical power systems.
