Job Overview

  • We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced academic to join the Department of History & International Studies as Lecturer I. 
  • The selected candidate will participate in teaching, research, and community service consistent with the University’s purpose of academic achievement and moral development.

Requirements & Qualifications

To be considered for this role, applicants must possess the following:

  • Education: A PhD Degree in History, International Studies, or a related field.
  • Experience: A minimum of 3 years of teaching and research experience in a university setting. Candidates must have served as a Lecturer II for at least 2 years.
  • Publications: Evidence of at least 7 scholarly publications in reputable journals.
  • Other Requirements:
    • NYSC Discharge or Exemption Certificate.
    • Proficiency in computer literacy and ICT relevant to academic duties.
    • Evidence of professional registration where applicable.
