The main features of the 2024 NDDC Internship Program are a N50,000 monthly stipend, practical entrepreneurship training,, and an extensive monitoring and assessment structure.

About the NDDC Youth Internship Scheme 2024
Applications for the NDDC Youth internship program are now being accepted. The Niger Delta Development Commission is known by the acronym NDDC. It is a Nigerian federal government agency that was founded in 2000 to solve the development issues the oil-rich Niger Delta region was facing.
The NDDC Youth Internship Scheme aims to alleviate the overwhelming number of young people in the area while also assisting them in gaining experience and skills in the workplace.
All Niger Delta youths (18–45 years old) are eligible to apply, and admission will be extremely competitive. Ten thousand youths will be chosen to receive benefits in the first phase.
NDDC Youth Internship Scheme 2024 Eligibility Requirements
To be considered for the NDDC Youth Internship Scheme 2024, applicants must ensure they meet up with the following requirements:
- Be in the age range of 18 to 45.
- Live in a state in the Niger Delta
- Possess a secondary school certificate at minimum.
- Express interest in learning new skills or improving current ones.
- A stipend of $50,000 will be given to each intern for the full year of this phase.
- The location of the internship will be chosen by the beneficiaries, so you can pick a location that suits you best.

- Candidates that are chosen will receive a N50,000 monthly stipend.
- The duration of the internship program is twelve months.
- Free training of skills of your choice
- Interns will be observed and assessed using a methodical framework.

- Identification document (Voters card/NIN/Driver’s license/International Passport)
- Local government identification letter
Application Method for 2024 NDDC Internship Program
To start the application process for the NDDC Youth Internship Scheme 2024 kindly follow the steps by step process below
- Visit the NDDC application website at https://nyis.nddc.gov.ng/ or click on the APPLY NOW button below to take you to the official NDDC application portal.
- You are to scroll down and click on “Register Now“
- Enter your email and Phone Number to retrieve the registration code
- Select your state (Abia, Akwa Ibom, Bayelsa, Cross River, Delta, Edo, Imo, Ondo, and Rivers)
- Ensure you create a Bio with your personal information
- Enter your valid contact details
- Upload the documents that are being required, including proof of residence and business information
- Submit the application and a confirmation email will be sent to you.
Application closing date: August 31, 2024
Note: Notification of approval will be sent to the successful applicants. After being accepted, candidates will get emails with more instructions. The initiative was launched to give the Niger Delta’s youths more empowerment. The 2024 NDDC Internship Programs is by phases, so if you are not selected for this phase you will have to wait till next phase.
