The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) is a Federal Government agency responsible for governing and operating Nigeria’s seaports. Our portfolio includes major port complexes such as:

  • Delta Ports – Warri, Delta State

The NPA operates under the supervision of the Federal Ministry of Marine & Blue Economy, in collaboration with other government agencies. 

About the Role

The Radio Officer II will be responsible for the maintenance and optimal functioning of Radio and Vessel Traffic Services (VTS) equipment, as well as monitoring the quality of radio communications within the port environment. This role plays a critical part in ensuring safe and efficient maritime operations through reliable communication systems.

Qualifications & Requirements

Applicants must possess:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (BSc) or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or Information Technology
  • Standard of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping (STCW 95) certification
  • Global Maritime Distress and Safety System (GMDSS) certification
  • Seafarers Medical Certificate of Fitness
  • Knowledge of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) – an added advantage
  • Age between 23 and 35 years
