About the Role
The Trainee Seaman position offers successful candidates the opportunity to build a career in seafaring and maritime operations. Trainees will gain hands-on experience in vessel operations, deck duties, and port activities, contributing to the safe and efficient movement of vessels within Nigerian ports.
Qualifications & Requirements
Applicants must possess:
- Minimum of five (5) credits in Science subjects obtained in not more than two sittings
- Credits must include English Language and Mathematics in the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) or its equivalent
- Knowledge of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) – an added advantage
- Certificate must have been obtained within the last eight (8) years
- Age between 18 and 25 years
