Job Summary
The Kuda microfinance bank is looking to add a highly competent and result oriented Fraud Analyst to their exciting Fraud Team. In this position, you will be part of the management fraud inquiries team, also will work with the team in preventing fraud occurrence, and the protection of clients’ funds.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Detecting and investigating occurrences of fraud throughout our numerous channels.
- Analyze data to offer insights and recommendations.
- Implementing fraud prevention measures.
- Conducting fraud risk assessments for products and services.
- Analyze fraud data for current trends, patterns, and threats.
- Monitor all electronic transactions for unusual patterns.
- Managing escalations and resolving fraud-related issues promptly.
- Working with internal stakeholders to detect trends and apply controls.
- Sharing investigative findings on reported fraud incidents with customers.
- Perform additional duties as needed.
- Generate and deliver full reports on fraud cases, including methodologies, impact, and recommended preventive steps.

- A minimum of four years of experience in fraud analysis or a comparable function.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to handle vast amounts of data.
- Intermediate to advanced SQL skills are advantageous.
