NESCO in its drive to achieve increased and maintained efficiency in achieving its mandate is seeking to employ a fully trained, highly motivated and well experienced Supervisor, Security to join its team in Bukuru, Plateau State
About the Role
The Strategy Officer will assist in the development, communication, and execution of NESCO’s strategic initiatives . This role is ideal for an entry-level to early-career professional who wants to work at the intersection of data analysis, business development, and corporate strategy within a historic electricity utility company.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
The Strategy Officer shall be responsible for the following :
- Strategic Planning: Assist in the formulation of the company’s strategic plan by conducting research and analysis on industry trends, market dynamics, and the competitive landscape
- SWOT Analysis: Conduct SWOT analyses to identify the company’s strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats to guide informed decision-making processes
- Business Development: Evaluate potential business development opportunities, including partnerships, mergers, acquisitions, and new market entries
- Project Support: Support the planning and execution of strategic initiatives and projects, ensuring alignment with NESCO’s objectives
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Coordinate cross-functional teams to implement strategic plans effectively
- Risk Monitoring: Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and propose mitigation strategies
- Data Analysis: Gather and analyse data on market trends, customer preferences, regulatory changes, and technological advancements in the power industry
- Insights & Innovation: Provide insights to inform strategic decision-making and identify areas for innovation and improvement
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including department heads and project managers, to ensure cohesive strategy execution
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies in all strategic activities
- Reporting: Prepare regular reports and presentations for the Head, Strategy and Business Development, highlighting progress, challenges, and recommendations
- Additional Duties: Undertake other tasks as may be assigned by the Head, Strategy and Business Development

Minimum Educational & Professional Qualifications :
