Job Summary
- The Superintendent Pharmacist will oversee the storage, handling, and distribution of pharmaceutical products in accordance with regulatory criteria.Â
- This function is responsible for ensuring compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Pharmaceutical Council of Nigeria (PCN) criteria while managing inventory, working with production teams, and keeping adequate quality assurance paperwork.
Responsibilities for Superintendent Pharmacist at Dana Pharmaceuticals Limited
Regulatory Compliance & Quality Assurance:
- Ensure that the warehouse complies fully with PCN, NAFDAC, and GMP laws.
- Implement and maintain adequate pharmaceutical storage conditions to ensure quality and efficacy.
- Prepare and maintain the essential documentation for regulatory audits and inspections.
Inventory and Warehouse Management:
- Oversee inventory control to avoid stock shortages or overstocking.
- Ensure accurate documentation and tracking of raw materials and finished products.
- To ensure product integrity, monitor storage conditions, including temperature and humidity management.
Operational coordination:
- Collaborate with the production, procurement, and distribution departments to guarantee smooth warehouse operations.
- Supervise warehouse personnel and ensure adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Investigate and correct any errors in inventory records.
Health, Safety, and Risk Management:
- Ensure the safe handling, storage, and disposal of pharmaceutical items.
- Implement safety protocols to reduce risk in warehouse operations.
- Periodically train warehouse employees on compliance, safety, and best practices.
Required Skills / Experience for Superintendent Pharmacist at Dana Pharmaceuticals Limited :
- Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) degree with a current PCN license.
- A minimum of five years of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing and storage.
