Job Description of Warehouse Manager at Olam Agri
Warehouse Operations:
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, which include receiving, storing, and shipping agricultural supplies.
- Implement and maintain an effective warehouse layout and organization.
- Maintain proper inventory control and management.
- Monitor inventory levels and organize restocking as needed.
- Set and implement stringent quality control requirements.
Team Management:
- Lead and manage a team of warehouse workers.
- Assign tasks, monitor performance, and provide feedback.
Logistics and Transportation:
- Coordinate with logistics and transportation providers to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods.
- Monitor inbound and outbound shipments.
- Resolve any logistics or transportation issues.
Safety and Compliance:
- Ensure adherence to safety regulations and standards.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and training.
- Implement and maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
Requirements for Warehouse Manager at Olam Agri
- A bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, or another similar field.
- At least 7 years of experience in warehouse management, ideally in the agriculture industry.
