Akwa Ibom State Government Intervention Grant Portal
The Akwa Ibom State Government is pleased to announce the inauguration of the new and enhanced Student Bursary and Support Grant Portal, a dedicated online platform designed to streamline the application process for students seeking the annual bursary payment. This opens the door for every Akwa Ibom State student studying at a public (non-private) postsecondary institution in Nigeria to apply for the yearly student bursary.
The portal also supports the government’s special intervention grant for pupils with disabilities. Unlike the student bursary, the disability intervention grant is available to all Akwa Ibom state students enrolled in both public and private tertiary institutions in Nigeria, and it covers graduate and postgraduate degrees. access to the funding required to achieve their academic goals.
Requirements for 2025 AKSG Intervention Grant for Students with Disabilities
- You must already be registered with the Ministry of Education.
- Provide a valid student registration number (this will be securely shared with your university system for verification).
- Valid student ID card.
- Valid admission letter.
- Valid certificate of origin.
- Valid School Fee Receipt (preferred to have independently validated receipts, such as those with RRR number if paid via Remita).
- Valid passport photo.
- Valid NIN will be securely shared with a third-party system for verification.
