2025 Akwa Ibom State Student Bursary Portal
The government of Akwa Ibom State is pleased to announce the inauguration of the newly upgraded Student Bursary and Support Grant Portal. This portal is a specialised online platform that has been built to simplify the application process for students who are willing to apply for the annual bursary payment.
The portal also supports the government’s special intervention grant for pupils with disabilities. Unlike the student bursary, the disability intervention grant is available to all Akwa Ibom state students enrolled in both public and private tertiary institutions in Nigeria, and it covers graduate and postgraduate degrees. access to the funding required to achieve their academic goals.
Requirements for 2025 Akwa Ibom State Student Bursary
For a successful application, you will require the following:
- Valid Student Registration Number (This information will be securely shared with your university system for verification).
- Required documents include a valid student ID card, admission letter, and certificate of origin.
- Valid School Fee Receipt (it is recommended to have receipts that can be independently validated, such as receipts with RRR numbers if paid using Remita).
- Valid Passport photo and NIN. (This information will be securely shared with a third-party system for verification.)

- Read through the requirements and click “Apply Now”
- Enter you email address and click continue
5. An OTP verification code will be sent to your address, open the mail and enter the code received into the verification box provided, it will be successfully verified.
6. Enter your NIN and complete the registration form, then click on start registration button
7. Click on Perform liveness check
