About The 2025 MultiChoice Talent Factory Academy Program
The MultiChoice Talent Factory Academy is a film, business, and passion school rolled into one. It cannot only empower students to become great storytellers but also provide them with cutting-edge information and technology, as well as empower them to construct institutions and become employers of labour from a creative entrepreneurship standpoint.
The Academy in Nigeria has students from both Nigeria and Ghana, two of West Africa’s most thriving film industries.
From young professionals seeking to broaden their horizons and change careers to fresher keen to establish themselves in the TV and film industry, MTF accepts applications from all backgrounds in the following 13 African countries: Nigeria, Ghana, Uganda, Kenya, Ethiopia, Tanzania, Zambia, Botswana, Namibia, Angola, Mozambique, Zimbabwe, and Malawi.
Using a hands-on approach and industry expert guidance, MTF believes in conducting a series of rigorous training programs. Aside from developing their skills, participants will get important knowledge about the film industry from some of the top professionals in the field and hands-on experience in sound design, editing, cinematography, and other areas.
Top-performing students from each academy will receive additional training, mentoring, and internship opportunities with MTF global partners after the program ends. These partners include the New York Film Academy (NYFA), the Indian platform Zee World, and the chance to work on productions in South Africa. Students who successfully complete the program obtain a recognized and approved degree as well as the opportunity to direct and produce short films that are shown on MultiChoice platforms.
Requirements for MTF Program 2025
- You should be between 21 – 26 years of age
- CV (Your resume should not exceed two pages.)
- A 200–300 word personal motivation letter outlining the reasons why you should be selected
- A copy of your identity
- A copy of the high school certificate
- a copy of your degree from college or university
- Kindly include COVID-19 vaccine certificate
