We are looking for a competent, detail-oriented and proactive Assistant Accountant to join our finance team and help us continue to develop and succeed.
Summary of Job
The successful candidate will assist with everyday accounting tasks, maintaining correct financial records and helping to support the financial health of the organization.

Key Responsibilities

| 2 | Process invoices, payments, receipts, and reconciliations |
| 3 | Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports |
| 4 | Monitor and track accounts payable and accounts receivable |
| 5 | Perform bank reconciliations and ensure account accuracy |
| 6 | Assist in budgeting, financial analysis, and cost monitoring |
| 7 | Support payroll-related financial processes |
| 8 | Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records |
| 9 | Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial accuracy across operations |
| 10 | Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards |
Requirements & Qualifications
Educational Qualification
- Minimum of OND, HND, or B.Sc. in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Experience
- 1 – 3 years of relevant accounting experience
- NYSC experience is an added advantage
Technical Skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Zoho, or similar
Key Competencies
- Good understanding of basic accounting principles and financial reporting
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Good organisational, time management, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Integrity, confidentiality, and a high level of professionalism
Location Requirement
- Must reside within or close to Ogba, Berger, Ikeja, or surrounding areas
