About the Customer Success Intern Role
The NielsenIQ Customer Success team is crucial in revolutionizing how the company serves its clients, utilizing cutting-edge tools, data, and knowledge to enable businesses to make smarter decisions.
As a Customer Success Intern you will support the implementation of client centered solutions, reporting and analytical services while establishing a solid knowledge of the FMCG business and NIQ products and services.
This internship is a great chance for freshers to get hands-on experience in client servicing, data analytics, market assessment and business consulting, while working with seasoned Customer Success experts.
Key Responsibilities
Client Support & Service Delivery
- Support the preparation and delivery of regular client reports, presentations, and insights
- Assist in responding to client inquiries and resolving routine data or reporting issues
- Help maintain high levels of client satisfaction through timely and accurate support
- Support the monitoring and tracking of client requests to ensure agreed service levels are met
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Assist in analysing market, consumer, and retail data to identify key trends and business insights
- Support the maintenance of reporting templates, dashboards, and other client deliverables
- Ensure data accuracy and quality in all reports and presentations
- Contribute to the development of actionable recommendations based on data findings
Collaboration & Learning
- Work closely with Customer Success Managers, Operations, Data Science, Retail Analytics, and other internal teams
- Participate in internal projects aimed at improving client service delivery and operational efficiency
- Learn and develop expertise in NIQ solutions, platforms, and analytical tools
- Support knowledge-sharing activities and team initiatives
Client Engagement
- Assist in building and maintaining positive relationships with clients and internal stakeholders
- Participate in client meetings, review sessions, and training sessions when required
- Provide support in preparing presentation materials and meeting summaries
Qualifications
Education
A Bachelor’s degree (completed within the last 1–2 years) in any of the following fields:
- Economics
- Computer Science/Engineering
- Business Administration
- Management Sciences
- Marketing
- Statistics
- Mathematics
- Accounting
- Finance
- Social Sciences or related disciplines
Experience
- Applicants must be fresh graduates with a Bachelor’s degree (B.Sc.) as listed above
- Must possess at least one year of post-graduation work experience
- Must be awaiting or about to commence their one-year NYSC programme
- Exposure to data analysis, research projects, customer service, or business reporting will be an advantage
Technical Skills
- Basic understanding of data analysis, interpretation, and reporting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Familiarity with data visualization and analytical tools is an added advantage
- Strong numerical and analytical aptitude
