About Federal Capital Territory Civil Service Commission (FCT-CSC)
The Federal Capital Territory Civil Service Commission (FCT-CSC) is an independent agency that manages the civil service in Nigeria’s Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
The National Assembly established it in 2018 and scheduled its inauguration for 2024.
The creation of the FCT-CSC is regarded as a key step in increasing the efficiency and effectiveness of the FCT administration.
The Commission’s goal in establishing an independent organization to monitor human resource management is to improve civil service professionalism, accountability, and service delivery.
Job Requirements
Candidates for this position must be able to satisfy the following requirements
- Full registration with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN).
- NYSC certificate (or exemption, if applicable).
- Passed the National Postgraduate Medical College’s Primary Examination in Internal Medicine, as well as the West African College of Surgeons and Physicians.
Duration of the programme
The programme will last a fixed Seven (7) Years tenureÂ

All applications should be accompanied with the following documents:
- Basic medical degree certificate.
- Current practicing license from MDCN.
- Copy of NYSC discharge/exemption certificate.
- Evidence of primary examination results.
- Two referee letters one of which should preferably be from a medical consultant
