We are now seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented professional to join our client’s team in the Firewood Jollof Central Kitchen.
Role Overview:
As a Food Packaging Officer, you will be the last line of quality control to ensure that every meal that leaves our Central Kitchen meets the high standards of the Firewood Jollof brand. You will be responsible for packing, labelling and presenting food for delivery to customers, corporate clients, outlets and events.
Core Responsibilities
- Check food appearance and packaging quality before handover.
- Follow hygiene and food safety standards strictly at all times.
- Work closely with QA and Supervisors during inspections and checks.
- Support smooth coordination between production, logistics, and dispatch teams.
- Report damaged packaging materials or shortages immediately.
- Resume work on time and maintain readiness before operations begin.
- Maintain cleanliness of packaging stations and surrounding areas.
- Ensure packaging materials are available and organized before production starts.
- Avoid wastage of packaging materials and food items.
- Ensure correct portion sizes are maintained consistently.
- Ensure meals are sealed, labeled, and arranged properly before dispatch.
- Package meals according to approved Firewood Jollof packaging standards.
- Assist in preparing bulk orders, corporate orders, and event packaging.
- Ensure speed and accuracy during high volume production periods.
- Protect the Firewood Jollof brand through excellent presentation and packaging standards.

Requirements
- Previous food packaging or kitchen experience is an advantage.
- SSCE, OND or NCE
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
- Must be willing to work weekends and holidays when required.
- Good understanding of hygiene and food safety practices.
- Must be disciplined, hardworking, and detail oriented.
- Ability to stand for long hours and work under pressure.
Compensation
- Salary: N90,000 per month.
