About Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC)
The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) is a Para-military institution and the Lead Agency for road traffic administration and traffic management in Nigeria.
The Corps is tasked to reduce road accidents, enforce traffic laws, promote road safety education and respond to crises nationally.
General Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Nationality: Must be a Nigerian by birth.
- Health: Must be medically fit and present a Certificate of Medical Fitness from a recognized government hospital. (Pregnant applicants are advised to defer application).
- Physical Standards:
- Minimum Height: 1.65 meters (Male) / 1.58 meters (Female).
- Character: Must be of good character, free from financial debt, and have no criminal record.
- Marital Status: Must be single at the time of application.
- Tattoos: No tattoos visible on any part of the body.
- Licenses: Possession of a valid National Driver’s Licence is an added advantage for all cadres.
- Computer Literacy: Basic computer knowledge is mandatory.
- Documentation: All qualifications must be declared at the point of application. Undeclared qualifications will not be recognized for future career progression.
- Personal Details: Applicants must provide a valid personal email address and phone number during registration.
