About Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC)
The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) is a Para-military institution and the Lead Agency for road traffic administration and traffic management in Nigeria.
The Corps is tasked to reduce road accidents, enforce traffic laws, promote road safety education and respond to crises nationally.
Role Overview / Job Details
The Marshal Inspector I (MI-I) is a mid-level operational role within the FRSC’s Marshal Inspectorate Cadre.
Key responsibilities include:
- Road Safety Operations: Conduct frontline road safety patrols and enforcement activities
- Emergency Response: Provide emergency medical response and first aid at accident scenes
- Traffic Management: Enforce road traffic regulations and ensure highway safety
- Public Education: Participate in road safety awareness and education campaigns
- Field Operations: Support field operations under the supervision of senior officers
Qualifications & Requirements
Educational Qualification
Candidates must possess any of the following qualifications from recognised institutions:
- National Diploma (ND) from a recognised institution
- Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE)
- Registered Nurse (RN) and Registered Midwife (RM) – Double qualifications preferred
- Accident & Emergency Nurses – Specialised nursing qualification
- Pediatric Nurses – Specialised nursing qualification
- Anesthetic Nurses – Specialised nursing qualification
- Orthopedic Nurses – Specialised nursing qualification
- Radiographers from recognised institutions
- Community Health Extension Workers (CHEW)
Age Requirement
- Applicants must not be less than 18 or more than 30 years of age
General Requirements
Applicants must:
- Be Nigerian by birth
- Be computer literate
- Possess current practising licences where applicable for medical and allied professional disciplines
- Be of good character, free from financial indebtedness, and must not have been convicted of any criminal offence
- Be single
- Be medically fit and present a certificate of Medical Fitness issued by an approved government hospital
- Have a minimum height of 1.65 metres for males and 1.58 metres for females
- Ensure that all certificates and qualifications are declared and presented at the point of recruitment; undeclared qualifications will not be accepted for future career progression
- Must not have tattoos on any part of his/her body
- Use personal email address and phone number when submitting applications
Additional Advantage
- Possession of a valid National Driver’s Licence will be an added advantage
