Job Description
To oversee the complete implementation of planned maintenance, preventative maintenance, and remedial and repair work within the maintenance department to maintain the reliability and availability of all milling machines.
Duties and Responsibilities for Mills Maintenance Officer At Flour Mills Of Nig Apapa
- Monitor the status of all routine, breakdown, and planned maintenance actions on all mechanical equipment, components, and installations.
- Respond promptly to malfunctions and resolve issues as soon as feasible.
- Update all maintenance activity records for future analysis and reference.
- Recommend new installations or modifications to enhance plant control performance, as well as the replacement of defective or obsolete mechanical equipment systems and subsystems.
- Ensure that RCA is performed on breakdowns that exceed the established threshold, and drive the closure of generated actions resulting from RCA, as well as the documentation of RCA records.
- Promote and implement maintenance safety measures to prevent accidents and protect staff.
- Monitor resource consumption and efficacy.

Qualification
- B.Sc./HND in Mechanical Engineering.
