Job Description:
To operate a packing machine and assure compliance with quality standards while reaching and exceeding the set target output.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Optimize packaging with Rovema, Altopack, and Buhler equipment.
- Document the packaging and loading activities thoroughly.
- For maximum productivity, operate the packaging machine in accordance with standard operating procedures.
- Maintain standard operating parameters for the packing machine.
- To avoid delays in packaging processes, ensure that packing materials are available in the appropriate quantity, quality, and timing.
- Supervise the hygiene and cleaning in the packing areas.
- Attend to minor machine breakdowns.
- Facilitate planned maintenance.
- Ensure that bags are sewn to specification.
- Ensure proper manufacturing practices and housekeeping.
Required Skills and Competency
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Have fundamental analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Able to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced atmosphere.
- Pay close attention to details.
Qualification
- 5 O’ level credits including Mathematics & English in not more than 2 sittings.
