Key Roles and Responsibilities of Packaging Electrician
- Follow environmental standards and legislation to provide a safe, healthy, and risk-free workplace.
- Perform maintenance, plan and prepare for the job, and carry out repairs and maintenance.
- Operate and maintain all equipment and related devices in the packaging process.
- Optimize plant, process equipment, and systems.
- Ensure that maintenance tasks are executed properly.
- Standby duty is necessary as per the roster.
- Maintain the safety and housekeeping standards.
- Identifying dangerous activities through SIOs
- Conduct safety inspections and examine the safe maintenance techniques.
- Adhere to PPE policies
- Operate workshop equipment.
- Effectively communicate in teams and contribute to personal and team development.
- Backlog, produce tags for follow-up work and satisfied customers (no rework)

Qualification for Packaging Electrician
Minimum requirements:
- Tested N3 Electrical.
- Electrical artisan, trade tested.
- Electrical trade combined with C&A.
- Qualified, trade-tested mechanical artisan with N4 to N6 qualifications.
- Minimum of 2-3 months on-the-job training.
- Manufacturing Basic Maintenance Training
- Ideal 3-6 months of on-the-job training.
- 1-2 years as an Electrical Artisan in a related business.
