Job Description

In charge of the development, creation, and maintenance of schedules and plans for engineering and construction initiatives.  This position entails the coordination of multidisciplinary teams to optimize project timelines, identify potential issues, and propose solutions to maintain the progress of projects.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Ensure that the project planning scenario accurately incorporates project implementation, work bundles, and constraints.
  • In charge of overseeing progress and generating precise projections.
  • Ensure that other functions have access to current and accurate reports, as well as relevant reports.
  • Formulate comprehensive proposals for the modification of processes and procedures, with an evaluation of the effect on directly related processes and functions.
  • Present the team with a more comprehensive perspective.  Utilization of fundamental influencing abilities to achieve designated objectives.  A service unit that provides services to the function or directly to the business.
  • Manage departmental tasks following established protocols.  By selecting the appropriate procedure, exceptional cases are resolved.
  • Guarantee the precision of the daily safety and operational reports generated by the vendor, contractor, or technical partner.
  • Before the work requirements are accepted, ensure that any nonconformances (NCRs) that have been identified are reported, monitored, and resolved.
  • Develop and implement novel tools and methodologies to enhance the efficacy and quality of operational processes.
  • Comply with the company’s code of practices, international standards, and best practices, as well as relevant HSE policies, procedures, and controls, as well as applicable legislation and sustainability guidelines.
  • Leads and drives the culture of Zero Incident, Zero Accident, and Zero Spill initiatives for field operations, ensuring full compliance with QHSE policies, standards, procedures, and job-specific requirements, and commits to the company’s core values.
  • Monitor and supervise the timely production of high-quality documentation, while ensuring that all essential field pre-jobs, real-time, and post-jobs documents are properly utilized and duly signed and filed.
  • Collaborate with Contractors, Equipment, and Service Providers to generate operational forecasts that facilitate continuous operations and contingency plans.  Additionally, offer performance feedback when necessary.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, or monthly reports per the appropriate instructions to guarantee the timely and precise delivery of operations and well reports for each operation phase.

Educational Qualifications and Skills

  • Requires a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college.
  • Experience in Project Management for at least 4 years and Project Planning for at least 2 years is required.
  • Capable of working independently or collaboratively with a diverse group of individuals from different cultural backgrounds.
  • Exhibits exceptional leadership and interpersonal abilities.
  • Extensive work experience in the O&G service and Services Project Management within the O&G Industry.
  • Extensive practical knowledge in utilizing Primavera software and Microsoft Project.
  • Experience working on high-value projects in a diverse and collaborative environment.
  • Extensive experience in the client interface.  Capable of spearheading projects with a moderate scope and significant impact.
  • Efficiently managing multiple projects at once.  Demonstrates strong abilities in identifying and resolving problems.
  • Demonstrated aptitude for analysis and organization.
