Key Responsibilities (Post-Training)
Upon successful completion of the program, you will be responsible for:
- In-Process Monitoring: Overseeing and auditing raw material processing and production lines to ensure strict compliance with established quality benchmarks.
- Product Testing: Conducting physical, chemical, and structural tests on polymer and flexible packaging materials to guarantee product durability and integrity.
- Defect Mitigation: Proactively identifying, isolating, and reporting material or structural deviations on the factory floor to minimize production waste.
- Regulatory Compliance: Maintaining rigorous and accurate documentation of all quality control tests in alignment with regulatory standards and internal company safety protocols.
Target Academic Disciplines
To be eligible for this technical trainee track, applicants must hold a B.Sc. / B.Eng. / HND in one of the following fields:
- Polymer and Textile Engineering
- Chemical and Polymer Engineering
- Polymer Engineering
Core Requirements
- Education: Minimum of Second Class Lower Division (2:2) or Lower Credit for HND holders.
- Experience: Fresh Graduate status is required (completion of the mandatory National Youth Service Corps – NYSC is non-negotiable).
- Competencies: Strong numerical, scientific, and analytical skills; ability to thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on factory floor environment.
- Attributes: High level of personal integrity, precision, and an unquenchable eagerness to learn complex manufacturing processes.
