Job role
We are seeking a Senior Data Analyst to join our Fraud Team. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in data analytics to uncover insights, build predictive models, and develop strategies to combat fraud effectively.
Key Responsibilities for Senior Data Analyst Job At Kuda Bank
- Monitor transactions and activities for patterns and trends that may indicate fraudulent behavior.
- Develop and improve fraud detection algorithms and grading systems.
- Analyze huge datasets to provide meaningful insights about fraud prevention.
- Set up dashboards and reports to monitor key fraud metrics and trends.
- Present your results and recommendations to stakeholders, including leadership teams.
- Collaborate with the Fraud Operations, Risk, and Product teams to create successful fraud prevention initiatives.
- Work with the Data Science and Engineering teams to implement advanced machine learning models and solutions.
- Evaluate and improve the present fraud detection methods, techniques, and systems.
- Lead the development of automated systems for fraud detection and reporting.
- Evaluate growing fraud tendencies and adjust strategy to meet new threats.
- Proactively detect weaknesses and offer preventive steps.
Requirements for Senior Data Analyst Job At Kuda Bank
- A minimum of four years of experience in fraud analysis or a comparable function.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to handle vast amounts of data.
- Intermediate to advanced SQL skills are advantageous.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment, such as fintech.
- Proficient in monitoring systems and rule adjustment.
- Knowledge of fraud prevention methods and technologies.
- Proficiency with fraud detection tools and software.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to function in a fast-paced atmosphere while managing many priorities.
- SQL proficiency is required for querying databases and extracting data for analysis.
- Advanced skills in data analysis and the ability to use these skills to identify patterns and anomalies that may indicate fraud.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
