Job Description
Reliance Health is looking for an experienced and inventive Senior Data Scientist to oversee our efforts to use data to enhance healthcare outcomes and drive commercial success. The team is new, so this is a chance to help shape the function’s future and play a key part in a variety of high-value initiatives.
Responsibilities of Senior Data Scientist At Reliance Health
- Create and deploy advanced data analytics and machine learning models to address complex issues including risk assessment, consumer segmentation, fraud detection, and predictive modeling.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to find opportunities to use company data to inform business solutions and strategy.
- Create and develop data-driven products and services that improve consumer experiences and operational efficiency.
- Design with modularity, repeatability, and scalability in mind.
- Conduct comprehensive data analysis to inform decision-making and share findings with stakeholders at all levels.
- Stay current on industry trends and developing technologies in data science and healthcare; analyze and recommend new tools and ways for improving existing systems.
- Ensure data integrity and compliance with applicable rules and ethical standards.
Job Requirements
Must Have
- Five years of data science experience OR three years of data science experience with at least a master’s degree in a related subject.
- Strong expertise in Python, R, or similar
- A problem-solving attitude, with the ability to look at a situation from different perspectives and find appropriate answers.
- You have excellent communication abilities and can translate difficult information into meaningful, accessible business insights.
Nice to have:
- Experience in the healthcare or insurance industries.
- SQL proficiency.
- Technical experience directing projects throughout their lifecycle, including scoping, development, and production.
