New Incentives is a nonprofit organization that is headquartered in the United States and conducts operations in Nigeria. 

They concentrate on the enhancement of health outcomes in developing countries by means of innovative programs.

Conditional Cash Transfers: New Incentives is most renowned for its conditional cash transfer (CCT) program in Nigeria. 

This initiative offers nominal financial incentives to families that enroll their children in routine vaccinations. 

Key Duties and Responsibilities of Supply-Side Officer at New Incentives

  • Daily evaluation of the many platforms used to identify supply-side concerns, as well as updates to all supply-side logs.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with FMs or LCCOs of clinics or LGAs with cases to investigate, identify previously taken actions, and determine the status of supply-side cases.
  • Create and send daily supply-side reports to team members via email.
  • Follow up with team members every day and take action to resolve supply-side issues, determine case status, and update supply-side records.
  • On alternate weeks, make phone calls to all LCCOs and Apex Clinic Officers in charge of vaccine distribution in LGAs and clinics.
  • Weekly updates to the Master case log.
  • Provided verbal supply-side reporting and actively participated in the twice-weekly government relations team meeting.
  • Engage with supply-side government stakeholders to lobby for the program and do follow-up.
  • Provide unique advice and solutions for reducing or eliminating supply stockouts and runouts.

Security Awareness

  • Report all security occurrences in areas of operations, even if they do not directly affect staff or operations.
  • Take responsibility for your own and your team members’ safety in the field, where applicable.
  • Read and comprehend all security documents relevant to operations, including SOPs and the Country Security Plan.

Other Duties

  • As assigned by leadership (Less than 5% of role).

Key Performance Indicators

Rate of reduction in:

  • mo/nthly number of stockouts
  • monthly number of rankouts

Rate of responsiveness to stockout and runout cases:

  • on the supply-side dashboards
  • Identified during calls to LCCOs
  • Identified during calls to apex clinics

Rate of adherence to:

  • daily updating of the clinic, apex clinic or LGA case logs before night fall
  • Weekly updating of the master case log before the preceding Monday
  • Timely daily reporting to team members via email before 5pm

Key Requirements for 

Education and Work Experience Supply-Side Officer at New Incentives

  • HND or Bachelor’s degree in any field.
  • Holding a similar position in the NGO sector will be advantageous.
  • Minimum of 1 – 3 years relevant experience in an NGO.
  • The candidate must be a resident or willing to relocate to the locations where the position is advertised.
